On June 14, 2024, we had the honor of presenting our progress and achievements for the SABYDOMA project during the Period 3 review meeting. This occasion allowed us to showcase the significant strides we have made in our development efforts and to highlight the innovative advancements within the project.
During the meeting, we provided a comprehensive overview of our work, emphasising the scaling-up process and the successful results of our new electroplating technology, which has reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6. This development aligns with the Safe by Design (SbD) guidelines, ensuring that our processes are both innovative and safe. Our presentation detailed the rigorous steps taken to achieve this milestone, reflecting our commitment to advancing sustainable and secure technologies.
The discussions also delved into the development and validation of SbD technologies at TRL 4 and TRL 5 levels through four detailed case studies. These case studies covered various aspects, including release experiments, computational modeling, regulation, governance, and data management. Additionally, we outlined our strategy for disseminating and exploiting the SABYDOMA research results, ensuring that our findings and innovations will have a broad and impactful reach.
